Can I try out a class before signing up?
Yes, we offer a couple of free classes in each program so that you can get a feel for the class and check out our facility!
What's a good class for me to try if I have never trained before?
The Training for Warriors (TFW) program is the absolute best for a combination of fitness and physical skills. We offer both morning and evening TFW classes - and no matter what you are looking for, fitness is the ultimate objective and TFW will definitely do that for you!
What should I wear?
For men, we recommend wearing loose fitting shorts at or above the knee, since you may be kicking, running, and jumping, and a cotton blend t-shirt or compresion shirt.
What do I need to bring with me?
If you own your own gear (gloves, shin guards, etc.), please bring them in, otherwise we have equipment that you can use until you’re able to purchase your own. Bring a bottle of water or a bottle you can refill with our water cooler so you can stay hydrated during training.
Do you have a shower?
No, we have a bathroom and changing area, but do not have shower facilities.
Do you offer private or group training sessions?
Absolutely! We routinely conduct personal and private training and have conducted numerous series of group training and education sessions. These group sessions have covered both basic and advanced self-defense, and specific customized training sessions.
I am visiting from out of town, can I drop in?
Most definitely! As an official Training for Warriors (TWF) world-wide affiliate, we routinely have students from around the country that are in town for work or vacation and seek us out for classes when they are in town. We suggest you call ahead to let us know you're coming!
Are you family friendly?
Absolutely! Our students age from 5 years to 65 years old! We offer both training and fitness programs for all ages and encourage all members of the family to try our programs! (No sense in sitting on the visitor bench watching your family member train while you can to!)
